Due to termite and moisture damage the supporting beam was rotted. Lyman Bryant, a local architect and member of the society drew the plans for the needed repairs. B R Tallent & Clint McManus of William R Tallent Construction made the repairs at no charge to the museum. Together they worked over 20 hours to achieve this.
