WILL OF THOMAS AMMONS

In the name of God Amen. I  Thomas Ammons being in very lo state of helth perfectly sound in mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality of the body do make and constitute this my last will and testament.

First Recommend my soul to God that gave it and my body to be buryed at the descrection of my executors

Secondly I do will and bequeath unto my beloved son William Ammons one shilling by reason that I gaven to him before

Thirdly I gave to my beloved son John Ammons one shilling by the same reason

Fourthly I  gave to my beloved daughter Mary Woddard one shilling likewise

Fifthly I gave to my beloved son Ephram Ammons one shilling likewise

Sixthly I gave to my beloved son Thomas Ammons one shilling likewise

Seventhly I gave to my beloved daughter Sarah Baggley forty dollars during her natural life at her death to her children Mary and Ann likewise the property I once lent her I now gave

Eightly I do gave to may beloved daughter Susannah the balance of my property after my just debts are paid my last will and testament

To be Executed by Joshua Ammons and John Hamer

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 16th day of June  1817
