SCENES FROM THE WINDOW WONDERLAND FESTIVITIES

Window Wonderland, is a celebration of Christmas sponsored annually by the merchants on Main Street in Franklin, NC. Luminaries line the street, shoppers dressed in turn of the century costumes stroll the street, windows are decorated with animated displays and music, activities and refreshments are provided.
The Macon County Museum was decorated with lights, a tree, and the window display included old toys. Mary Lou Rollins helped the children decorate cookies, while Fred Plesner assisted the children with paper chains & snowflakes. Beverly Moore provided gingerbread boys for the children to paint.
