Program:

Kevin Bell

of Franklin

will speak on the use of DNA in genealogy.

He will share the results of his Y-chromosome DNA test, and discuss the ways in which the test enhanced his research of his Bell ancestry, including the matching ancestors back into the 17th century. There will be a chance for the audience to ask questions after the presentation. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. An announcement will also be made concerning a special price on DNA test kits for those interested.

The meeting will also include and update on the Macon County cemetery survey.

All members and amyone interested in genealogy/family history are urged to attend.

The public is welcome.
